A nostalgic treasure from the golden age of Christian youth fiction, this 1948 vintage paperback edition of The Thousand Dollar Fish by Paul Hutchens is part of the beloved Sugar Creek Gang series, published by Moody Press, Chicago.
This collectible features its original illustrated cover with a fish clutching a dollar bill and a 60¢ price mark. Inside, a charming dedication page reads:
"Christmas Presented by the Bible School of the First Baptist Church Hackensack N.J."
The book is in acceptable vintage condition. It shows signs of age-related wear including loose pages, but none are missing. The binding is fragile yet intact, suitable for careful reading or display. A wonderful addition to any vintage Christian literature collection or mid-century children's library.
Ideal for collectors, homeschoolers, and those curating a faith-based vintage bookshelf.
